I can’t wait for this long ass unnecessary season to end tonight. It’s been a nightmare for almost 12 months now.

I hope we get a shortened season of under 50 games next year.

Jumping ahead a bit but Scottie Barnes is a kid I’m falling in love with in the 2021 draft already. He’s mocked around 20 right now but he’s sure to get that FSU bump and probably won’t be there for us wherever that Mavs pick is.

I’m just going to start manifesting a Cade/Scottie reunion on the Knicks next off season...

According to Macri, Lamelo seems to be really tanking his interviews. Whether that’s on purpose or not remains to be seen.

To color this in a bit. The version of the story I saw about interest in Wiseman was basically:
- Knicks are making 2021 draft a key focusing point, but no certainty on how that impacts a CP3 trade or any other besides the fact that the Mavs pick is probably safe.

- LaMelo and Wiseman are the only two players the Knicks really like and if both are off the board, they will be active looking to trade down.

- Tyrese Maxey is a name to watch for and Kenny Payne is the key connection.

- And one other pretty interesting tidbit was that Orlando is intrigued by DSJ. That means 8+DSJ for 15+??? could be something to look out for.

Then separately, today we got a little extra ink from Macri that suggested Kira Lewis (my guy) is still on their radar and he's another player that makes more sense in a trade down scenario as he's been mocked in the double-digits mostly (although I'd guess he goes earlier than 15).
