Nah the first... if we give up Mitch whoever we draft at 1 would have to contribute off rip. Like we really really don't have the luxury of making a mistake at 1 and drafting a bust or we'd be taking 2 steps back.

I'm trading Mitch and our 8th for the first pick. He's replaceable. We've been looking for a PG for the longest and trading a rim running big in todays NBA to get one shouldn't be a tough decision.

Trading two weak picks for the #1 is a no go. Imagine someone coming to us with that if we had the #1 pick.

If Melo is our guy and the only way to get him is to trade Mitch and the #8 pick I would do it in a New York minute. Bring up Wooten and play him at Center in small ball lineup.

That deal only works if we’re moving up a couple spots like #6 and going after a player you think won’t make it past Detroit.
