That's really good value for Rivers, honestly I don't know what he's thinking taking that kind of deal. I'd like the move a lot more if the Knicks didn't re-sign Elfrid though. I have to assume the FO is writing off Frank and DSjr as sunk costs and that Quickley is gonna spend most of the season in the G-League. At least with Rivers we're getting a decent shooter and a pg who can finally hit a shot off of the dribble:deadmanny: The offense might look a bit more functional with him at the helm. He's Prime fodder for a mid-season trade too.

Time for the Knicks to stop signing players though; That cap space will make us key players for these thirsty ass contending teams around the trade deadline, whether it be directly or as a third team in a trade.

I'm not mad at the Knicks decisions so far. I'm glad they didn't overspend for a guy like Heyward. VanVleet had every intentions to return to Toronto as he should.

I like the fact we're acquiring draft picks while using our cap space.

I'm not mad at the additions of Burks, Noel and Rivers. When Robinson leaves the floor, we have Noel to come in to maintain. I see Noel playing at least 20mins per game. Adding Burks and Rivers opens up the floor...I'm not mad at that.

I do expect another move to be made.....I hope it's Randle

Looks like they will see what frank can do and possibly let RJ run as point forward

Yeah, it seems like this group is leaving the door open for Frank or DSJ to snag a lead ball handling role. Rivers can do enough of it where if they flop, there's a fallback option. I feel like I'm gonna enjoy this season a lot more just off of the amount that's wide open for guys to take.

They're a Randle trade away from having the best "punt" offseason we've seen.

I thought the same thing when the signed Elfrid, but signing 2 pg's makes it seem like they're desperate to find any viable alternative to those two. I definitely could be mistaken though, the FO has been really hard to read this year.

As much as I think they've been done dirty in the past, this is their contract years. If they can't play their way into a role on this roster, then it's time to move on...I think Frank/Quickley can be a really effective tandem btw.

I only have problems with two nikkas and you know who they are. I’ve never hated on any other prospect and I don’t really hate on Ntilikina and Knox just spit true undeniable clear facts. :umad:

Nothing wrong with Iggy he’s just a mid-late second round pick and those guys end up in basketball hell between the G-League and NBA and tend not to play much before moving on overseas or to other ventures. That’s just reality he doesn’t really fit what we’ve got going on.

Like Kuzminskas he’ll be a cac combo forward who never really got a true shot :manny:
Have you ever thought that maybe if we had a competent staff we’d be like Toronto or Miami and develop no namers into reliable players.:ohhh:

imagine Riley with a player like frank with his defense :wow: dude had Norris cole looking like a lock down defender.

Imagine Riley and his love of Kentucky players with Knox. He toughen his ass up.

Imagine Toronto with iggys smooth play style..... after they developed FVV , anunoby and siakim
