so much overthinking in this thread :mjlol:

guys, we're obviously all excited for the season to start. relax. we got two promising picks and finally, a competent front office/coaching staff we haven't had since Checketts/Riley.

just be patient and let the pieces fall where they're supposed to. hard for any Knick fan to be optimistic but my gut instinct tells me this year will be different.

His first step is fine dude :comeon:

Speed and quickness is not a weakness for him he doesn’t have a great handle or vertical pop and he’s weak which is why he’s not a great finisher, it’s also a matter of touch too.

Nikka came in here :cape: because I want the p*ssy crepe off the team :mjlol:
You're literally the first person I seen promoting Quickley as someone who's ready to run at point :dwilllhuh: And you literally posted three straight posts about him replacing Frank who has better vision and passing skills than him :dahell:

I think he's better than Frank at the role that he's been playing when he's not playing PG, but he's not a PG yet. And his first step ain't all that

Noel is an empty calorie defender.

He's a defender in the same vein that Whiteside is - will make a highlight block but then go on to miss his next five defensive rotations.

He's essentially a diet version of Mitch, and the last thing the Knicks need is another big who can't space the floor. I get that their frontcourt needs more defense, but Noel ain't it. Baynes would've been a good look for this squad; he would've brought back that tough, defensive 90s Knicks mindset, and he can shoot too.
I'm good with that. Full game of i rim protection is alright by me
Im not sure why Quickley is disrespected like we didn’t draft a whole PG :skip:

We also scooped up Myles Powell on an Exhibit-10 and have Lamar Peters and Jared Harper. I want to see at least one of those guys get a shot.

Quickly is not a whole of... Once again
:hhh:

Very tradeable at least. Not terrible. I just don't like having any money tied up going into next off-season
It's not. Next two years not guaranteed :blessed:

I’m not promoting shyt those other cats ain’t ready either. I’m telling y’all we drafted a PG and y’all should give him more respect

Frank’s vision trash nikka all he can do is make the pocket pass out the P&R and push the ball ahead in transition and he routinely telegraphs the P&R

Again Quickley’s first step is fine he certainly doesn’t have a slow one and is overall faster and quicker than Frank :mjlol:

U talking about passing I’m talking about scoring and shooting neither is a primary ball handler at this stage I would argue they’re both tertiary ball handlers one is just going to be more impactful by spacing the floor we’re gonna see them in line ups with Barrett and Burks/Rivers/Payton

Quickley is going to kill Ntilikina when it comes to off-ball motion and actually draining shots and being aggressive

I can't stand Austin, but 3/$10 and the last two years being non-guaranteed is good.

I think they run RJ at point forward/lead ball handler. If I were DSJ, I'd be packing my bags.

Quickley’s finishing is going to be a matter of strength training and skill training.

He’s not bouncy in traffic like Morant.

He does have a good floater and he’s not p*ssy unlike a certain somebody. He just has a weak frame, weak off hand, and poor touch. He gets a lil out of control throwing up bullshyt at the rim.

But like I said he’s not p*ssy he will attack which is why he averaged over 5 free throws a game which he knocked down at a 92% clip.

Ntilikina averages less than 1 free throw attempt a game for his career :dead:
