Quickley/Frank could work great if Frank keeps up the aggression we saw at the tail end of the season. They'd be a tough defensive combo and Quickley spaces the floor. You DEF want the SF to have some ball handling chops though. RJ makes sense, Knox not so much. If Frank's not about that aggressive play though, Austin Rivers can work there.

I keep thinking about how many undersized combo guards the Knicks targeted and thinking that had to be done with purpose in mind.

Combo guards next to a point forward RJ makes sense. I do think they put the ball in his hands more.

No doubt. I just hope Elfrid and Randle continuing to be here doesn't disturb the lockeroom. If these mf start freezing everyone out for that trash two man game:snoop::hhh:

My favorite ridiculous stat off our mess of a season was this one

Leon has to find a place to move Randle to. Payton's not bad on his own, but he's not a good fit next to RJ and combining him with Randle was disruptive (plus Randle is an even worse fit with Mitch than Payton is with RJ).

Two combo guards next to a point forward can work for sure. But I've been projecting Quickley and Frank to the second unit. Maybe this works out and Payton/Burks head up a second unit though. I think we're in for some consolidation of pieces before this all falls into place though (as other heads have astutely pointed out).

So maybe the pieces come together or maybe the FO is really counting on young heads to snatch bigger roles from the journeymen. The contracts handed out this season make it easier to bench a vet since it's minimum cost guys.

Has next gen 2k updated yet? I know some of the rookies were added during draft night.

Not sure wtf you’re talking about Frank isn’t a PG at the NBA level he can’t even penetrate he’s a tertiary ball handler and he’s a willing passer/passive player not a good passer he’s not making any next level reads he’s not a PG he has a poor assist % to turnover %. He’s never really been a PG. In Europe he was a fast break outlet passer and would always pass the ball and hide in the corners once he brought it past half court.

Quickley and Ntilikina could be a cool pairing but I rather move on from the bust altogether and try to salvage another second round pick
"all he can do is make the pocket pass out the P&R and push the ball ahead in transition ..."

Yeah, ok

:comeon: he can do more??? :laff:

He has 165 bad pass TO’s in 3 seasons in a 20 minute a game role with a low usage rate for a PG.

He has been plucked out of games for continuously telegraphing P&R passes. He has a poor TO% and his assist % has decreased every season.

He can’t penetrate the defense and is a weak shooting threat on-ball. He rarely makes advanced reads on the floor or pass guys open. He rarely pushes in transition. He’s not a PG, unless PG stands for p*ssy guard.

So you never seen Frank make an amazing pass that our non-shooters bricked? You stat watcher...this why we always argue :lolbron:

Does Quickley even perform no-look passes like rookie year Frank did?
