Cobain's contribution to rock isn't anywhere near the level of Dre's on hip hop. The music industry had moved on from Nirvana before Cobain died. By 1994, Alternative music has over taken rock and grunge by then.

Of all the people to make this point with you used Michael Jackson? If you can't brush your teeth you should automatically be disqualified from GOAT/legendary status.
Ain't no "yeah, he didn't brush his teeth...but"...ain't no "but" when it come to shyt like that.
If it was revealed Michael Jackson hated wiping his ass...automatic removal.

Teen Spirit was that shyt for us in football practice
He and Pete Dougherty were talented catastrophes. I really liked the libertines. Pete’s barely alive I think. The guy was doing so much heroin, regular heroin abusers didn't wanna get high with him.. Overdosing became his norm. When users saw that they were like I don't wanna be known as the mf that was getting high with kurt cobain the day he died. So when showed up at the junkie spots they would all find an excuse to leave. Eventually he was getting high alone... sinking deeper... alone..
in the backseat of his 65 dodge dart.. all that money and that's the only vehicle he owned

The most overrated cac in the history of music
That recording was a huge hit because MTV played it continuously due to having exclusive rights (Around the same time we witnessed it with the soundtrack from Riverdance and Yanni: At the Acropolis having crazy sales due to constant replay by PBS). Nirvana's Unplugged went 8X platinum accord to Wikipedia, but guess what, The Eagles: Hell Freezes Over was released the same year and did 9X platinum. Despite that, no one was talking about the relevance of The Eagles on 90s rock music. None of the singles released from that Unplugged album charted well either. It was just nostalgia. Folks went back to listening to 10,000 Maniacs, Sheryl Crow, and Beck.Absolute made up bullshyt. Nirvana's Unplugged album came out seven months after his death, and did 5X+ platinum![]()

I’m somewhat of a music historian, this is not trueCobain's contribution to rock isn't anywhere near the level of Dre's on hip hop. The music industry had moved on from Nirvana before Cobain died. By 1994, Alternative music has over taken rock and grunge by then.
What were his other gross habits?
