Lmao i love bone and their album was definitely the biggest but all you posted was a single video. And pac was my idol, and his album rocked more and was selling faster. But that aint the question. The question is who ran 1995 and the answer is this guy right here
You nikkas must be getting high
The south is definitely more influenced by the Westcoast.
i contend he wouldnt have made alot of nikkas top 5's at the time, and if he did it would be at the bottom of that top 5 across the nation....and you can definitley use the bay as a reference point, because unlike the east coast the bay is less unbias in regards to style....and Biggies style and some of his singles was west coast centric, theres nothimg that wouldve stopped him from getting love out there....plus on top of that i already proved the bays graciousness and humbleness,Snoop wasnt a bay nikka but when it was his year he wouldve been if not THE favorite,he was undeniable and under consideration, same could be said for Bone with all the love i remember nikkas givin them, same as Pac....and while he's a bay nikka, true blue bay nikkas who repped harder would still get consideration over Pac,but when he dropped AEOM? He was in nikkas tops that same day....you CANT say this about Biggie at all....I dont need a consensus, but i say Biggie wasnt even up for consideration.
Matter of fact im sick of yall actin like Snoop died ,@bigbadbossup2012 Snoop had a better singles run then Biggie hence why it was still his year before Biggie has a chance at that shyt....nikkas was definitly still fukkin with Snoop more than Big at the time, shyt look at the Source Awards that year...Snoop got a better reception than Biggie and all of Junior mafia in they own city
Snoop got more love disrespecting the east coast audience, than Biggie got when he won lyricist of the year over Nas...when you gettin disrespected by the people of your own city, chances are you aint "That nikka" outside of it like yall tryna claim Biggie was
....it wasnt his year, hate it or love it
Snoop shouting out LbC gettin more love then Biggie shoutimg out Brooklyn![]()
i was born in 91. Was coolio really popping like that????
what do you mean? like the south as region dwelled into hip hop before the WestThe south was originally the west coast region wise like an old mlb division.

and @gluvnast if biggie has only sold 3.3 milli on RTD how many sells does he have regarding only sold then?
And I won't necessarily say that they were considered West Coast, but when you really look at the South, the early cat that got a buzz were from Texas (people have to remember that although 2 Live Group was well known, nobody really considered Florida the south back then; it was just Florida). But you would hear interviews about how they were embraced by cats from the West, that's why you hear a lot of the influence in early Southern rap. Like Art said, Geto Boys, UGK, Convicts, and really most of the early Rap A Lot and Suave House used to perform with West Coast artist all the time. I remember hearing that Big Mike used to hang heavy with Death Row. But the mid 90s was when we began to get recognized as the "South," or "Dirty South" as what became popular. The southern rap artist were regarded as part of the west coast originally.
From their lack of culture and violation of the cowboy edict based content.
Originally geto boys, ugk, convicts were known as west coast groups.
Even like was regarded as fitting into west coast rap. Which was more an indication of their lack of cultural responsibility in their scope and content and not their location nationwide.
It was much later around big mike's solos.
that the south started to be recognized as its own region.

nikkas writing essays but still no one has posted anything that is comparable to what big did in 1995. Which means no one has proved me wrong. In addition to the real nikka facts i layed down,my stance was never soley based on albums sales are even personal sales. Bone and pac were bigger.
However Biggie was overall bigger. for the following reasons
nikkas need to understand that biggie had one of the greatest singles/features runs ever for that time and anytime before him.
Every single from rtd was a classic with classic video to match.
Juicy's reign was more of a 94' thang.
But then came
Big poppa
Total's can't you see
Craig mack's flavor in your ear remix
Jr mafia's players anthem
One more chance remix
Warning
Jr mafia's get money
On top of that he was on Michael jackson's album
Did "runnin" with pac, stretch and dramacydal
Did Da b side with da brat (whom was huge coming off funkdafied and give it to you, first plat female solo rapper)
Also had dropped who shot ya.
nikka was on fire
My uncle claims Pac ran 95 said that 2pac was already established. Also that Pac had more of a built following.
This thread isnt about who was more established. Pac was on his 3rd album, plus had put out a group album and 3 movies that meant alot in the black community.Of course pac was more establishedMy uncle claims Pac ran 95 said that 2pac was already established. Also that Pac had more of a built following.
