How did Jay even get on his radar? BK's Finest??

Basically. Pac dissed Jay cause he let Biggie call out his name on "BK Finest". Biggie only mentioned Tupac's name on 2 verses:

"If Fay had twins, she probably had two Pac's, get it 2 PAC"

"My name ain't Tupac, I don't get around, You hittin us (Hit em up) n!gga how that sound"

Pac only heard the BK Finest as the 2nd line was unreleased and came out after they both were dead. So it wasn't that Pac was scared of Jay it was basically guilt by association. As for the line, I don't care how much money Jay said he had at the time.

He wasn't considered a top rapper so the "He's broke" was just a line saying he was small time and he was. The "I smoke daily" was just a rhyme but I always thought it was a funny little diss. But Jay only got tapped cause Biggie was setting him up to be his right hand man and Pac noticed that so he tried to stop Jigga's shine early.
