First of all I get the tank. I understand.. I know what they're trying to do. Philly hasn't really had anything to cheer about since Iverson stepped over Tyron Lue in the Finals years ago.... BUT:patrice:

This unheard of level of losing can be flat out dangerous to a club. As a Clipps fan for years, you really don't want to go down this path. That losing sinks in and permeates a franchise like a grape juice stain on white linen cloth. Those Eric Piatkowski, Loy Vaught, Lamond Murray, Pooh Richardson days were pretty dark and bleak. Things are rosy now but it took forever to get out of this

Be careful Philly.. This type of losing brings on a domino effect- Bad drafts, injuries, busts, coaching changes, bad attendance, etc.

:whoa: Not wishing any bad karma on ya'll and I hope this doesn't happen. I hope things do turn out and go according to plan but on the real.. be careful with these type of losing streaks

Wiggins, Parker or whoever they draft better start off like a star or else its gonna take a deep playoff run to drum up any fan interest... and that can take a minute

Nah difference is sixers at least have a respectable franchise(players, team history). Clips never had that so the losing mentality was easier to stick @pete clemenza

plus the Clippers have a racist, scumbag, degenerate owner.
I agree. real statements

But no matter how many first rounders ya'll got.. this epic-uncharted level of losing has got me worried for ya'll in the future. Not to much good comes from something like this:to:

hope I'm wrong though

They're basically getting three lottery picks next year when Noel comes back. The team will still suck next season, but there will be glimmers of hope. A couple veterans would go a long way with all those youngsters though.

The Celtics had a losing streak like this. The following year they got KG and Ray Allen and won it all. Kevin Durant couldn't win shyt his first 2.5 years in the league. Now look at him.

i say that to say this. While the concern is real and true (nobody will be a bigger casualty of this than my team), but it's up to ownership to stop that line of thinking. "Tanking" or rebuilding really works great if you don't stay at the bottom that long. The problem is that you can get addicted to rebuilding. That's the real issue. If their GM is just trying to get that superstar to push forward, that's not a problem. If he gets that guy and still wants to go back to the well again, now you have a problem. This is the reality of rebuilding. It's the ugly side of it, but if Philly gets that franchise player it's worth it moving forward. 26 game losing streaks >>>> pretending to compete thinking love and togetherness will get you through

It's one thing if you have an untalented team that just flat out loses but I don't get why this is even a story. They clearly don't want to win. What's the big deal? Records don't mean shyt.

I don't know if the Celtics is a good example. Celtics kinda got lucky with that one. they wanted Greg Oden badly. Lost the lottery and f*cked around and ended up with "The Big 3" still in their prime. I get the tank but this is an epic proportions tank. The type that brings on bad karma. They might not even win for the rest of the season.
