I don’t understand that small lineup Dusty rolled out there. Literally gave them 2 layups with guards guarding a 7 footer
Yeah, I didn't understand that either. That's the only way Illinois could've won, by Michigan going small.

Illini fans like to think they upgraded by replacing Morez with the Euros. They were proven wrong tonight. The loss of Morez will probably keep this Illini team from making the 2nd weekend. I believe he was that important for them.

It’s exactly like watching the Lakers. At the end of the day it don’t matter how much fire power you have if you can’t stay in front of your man. Btw I thought you’d appreciate this

I swear it don't seem like I get all my alerts:snoop:

Only way Illinois can beat Michigan is to be lights out on offense, but the problem is, Michigan can match that lights out.

A bunch of slow foot bigs is not ideal vs Michigan.

I hate Cason's season is over because dude was ballin'. I still think they are firmly one of the favorites to win it all.

I'm just glad it looks like Bruce Thornton will finally play in the big dance:pachaha:. Can't afford a loss vs Hoosiers AND a loss in the 1st game of the BTT. I think they need at least one of those games. Win both and I think Buckeyes are firmly in the tourney

Michigan is currently projected as a #2 seed and play in the same region as #1 South Carolina, which is arguably the worst possible matchup out of all on #1 seeds. Beating Iowa tonight should avoid that match up, although I see the team's ceiling as the Elite Eight and floor as the Sweet Sixteen (depending on the #3 seed).
