What do you mean?I agreed with your initial argument about how white women do not tan to be black.Now I'm saying that even though the beauty standard caters to white people,that does not mean that white women themselves don't have complexes.

The vast majority of white women don't have complexes related to their race. And they don't for reasons you listed. yes there are 1 percenters but most aren't. The white girls who do have complexes it's usually something related to them as an individual, like being too fat, or too thin or being ugly.

But the thing is,women in general have complexes about things like being too fat,too thin,too ugly,etc.There's so many factors that play into the physical goals of non-white women.I can't pin-point it.

But regardless of this whole debate,you still have an "uppity," attitude about black women.I'm going off the basis of what I've seen from you in your posts.From what I've read from you,you have this arrogant and snooty expression regarding everything you say about black women.I don't know what race you are,but if you happen to be black that makes it all the worse.

Physical features that were & still are stereotyped to black people are now cherished.I remember reading Shakespeare's play "Othello."& There were many insults in that play about black people.They called Othello "thick lips."The stereotypical things said about black people were meant to insult & belittle them.But now those same things that black people were negatively stereotyped for having are the goals for many white women.I go in makeup stores and see so many "lip plumping," lip glosses (& they don't plump your lips they are just trying to make sales).White girls who get butt injections/tans/lip injections are not trying to be black,HOWEVER,they are trying to get features that were once negatively stereotyped to black people.

Actually no it's not just black women.All women who are not white are affected by the beauty standard.Asian women are pressured into getting double eye-lid surgery(So their eyes won't look squinted and so they'll look more "American").The majority of Asian beauty products have whitening ingredients in them.Companies here like "Vaseline," & "Nivea," sell whitening products in other countries because they know they will sell.Some Asian parents actually raise money for their kids to get these nose & eye lid surgeries.These products are popular among Indian women and men also.There are commercials in India where they portray dark people having bad lives and once they use a whitening cream they have good lives.This is a universal thing.

I wonder is the last one was based on rita ora,lol.

& If you do say any positive about black women it must be rare.

You forgot about the Fair and Lovely. Yea these complexes do exist. I'm not saying they don't. But which group has it the most? That's my thing. like 1% of Asian women get their eye lids changed.
