What do you mean maybe? Thank Me Later, Take Care, and Nothing Was The Same debuted at #1. Doggystyle, Doggfather, and Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told all debuted at #1.

I know we're talking about X, Wayne, T.I., and Redman, but you were the one who brought up sales. Even in that regard, DMX had a higher peak than the others, but started declining after three years. The same can't be said for the others. T.I.'s sales climbed with each album up until T.I. vs. T.I.P., before peaking with Paper Trail. Wayne's sales were up and down before he peaked with Carter 3. Redman's was outselling his previous albums up until '98.

Nah Dmx is the only rapper to have his first 3 albums debut #1 on the billboard top 200 breh,do ya research

And still their record sales don't compare to DMX's

NO matter what i say,it's opinion. All the other shyt i said is fact. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but facts are facts and red man was never amongst the top artists in hiphop
I'm sure i dont hold red's album in as high a regard as YOU DO,so let's stick with the facts.
Did red match them nikkas in sales are even close,no
was red amongst the top of sales in 92' when he came out,no.
94',no

Ya'll trying to debate with ya'll feelings but the facts are always more solid
Just cause you and ya homies liked a nikka, dont mean that he did it big
ok if you want to go buy numbers then ok I guess Elvis is the greatest right dre aint shyt compared to em numbers actually dre aint shyt compared to drake numbers ha you cant go off numbers everyone knows bigger the artist bigger the machine to help and make it look like you sold heaps ha all facts like that eazy bit right? numbers are a statistic of only ONE measure to a album or artist growth lots of other ways to but since you just want numbers wouldnt eminem mm or the eminem show be better than the chronic or doggystyle? Sold more so its better right thats your argument wich is outa here cause lets be honest chronic is better but hey em sold more so its better.
Do you honestly think numbers of these albums don't get inflated sometimes? Artists are a investments

Are we going to pretend whiteness is not a factor? Sales arent the ONLY factor. But lets keep it in perspective. Every act in the OP's list made street music. 3 blew, one didnt . All are afro american nikkas from the hood projects etc. ALSO,i never said sales = better i said that's what was popping out here and the sales are blatant evidence. Was em more popping in america AS A WHOLE than dre, yes, amongst black people,NAW.

Like i said:
in 1992 he dropped an album that has not went pass gold in 23 years.
Dre dropped the chronic which has sold 5.7 million i've heard
Cube dropped an album that went double plat
das efx went plat
sir mix alot went plat
too short went plat
KRISS KROSS WENT 4 X'S PLAT
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT WENT 4 X'S PLAT

Many went gold and he's just another,NOT THE ROOF

When i point at his sells,it's not me saying he's wack cause he didnt have the sells. It's me saying he wasnt at the forefront, which he was not. The three others were hot on the streets and commercially hence he doesnt deserve to be compared.

Like I said beat it,DMX doing what he did in his short amount of time shyts on all 3 of these guys,no matter how you slice it,he isn't the one who get's eliminated

yup. alot of half-wits posting in here.

not to mention, rap was way different back then, so its ridiculous to compare longevity of the more organic eras to the illuminati eras where the music doesnt even matter.(wayne/tip)

wayne & especially tip have been :flabbynsick: for years. if mainstream hip-hop was still organically driven for the most part, they wouldve both been long gone. and in any real eras, they wouldnt have even shined PERIOD. hell, these guys actually were around for some of that, and they sat the bench.

redman was never in the forefront like that. its easy to stay afloat when youre lost in the shuffle & the pressure isnt on you. redman stays tho.

i voted tip out since hes the only one that doesnt crack my top 50.

What 10 east coast artist were bigger than Redman, during Redman's 3 album run?

Keep in mind, Redman albums saw the Gangsta rap era (1992), the Nas/B.I.G. bring New York Back era (1994), and he saw the Shiny Suit era (Pac and B.I.G. r.i.p.) (1996). And Redman albums also saw the Down South/Roc era (2001).
