Tired of making and eating it. Have a really good recipe that everybody loves and begs me to make every year. Literally have people dropping off chese and putting in orders starting october.

Honestly never enjoyed them. Its sweet but good enough to be treated like a desert, so we treat it like a side.
That should tell you everything right there. Peach cobbler isn't treated like a side dish, Pecan pie isn't treated like side dish. they are their own main events.
A desert you can eat as the main course with sides of its own, like a scoop ice cream.
a person bust out a plate like this, most people are happy.
