Mashed potatoes only cause I don’t think I’ve ever had it at thanksgiving, not a bad idea to have it when you think about it tho 
Usually somebody gonna be difficult and be like "I don't like Turkey" so you gonna have to make them a Ham or fried chicken. Mash potatoes goes good with chickenI do, I even make the car green bean casserole....I’m not

We’ve never had mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving, but I’m solo this year since my mom isn’t cooking. I’m too lazy to cook, so I ordered yams and mashed potatoes from Boston Market. I ordered the turkey from Wegmans. I’ll make my own greens and stuffing.
I’m only not doing Mac and cheese because I went plant-based pescatarian, and I cut out dairy. I’m already cheating my having turkey.
But usually, I don’t care for yams. So I’d get rid of yams if I didn’t give up dairy.

That was me. I was a vegetarian for about 5 years , my grandma hated buying different stuff JUST for me

At the two white Thanksgivings I attended, they had them.
The more I post here, the more I feel like a c00n...it has always been a staple at every thanksgiving for me
I can do without the mashed potatoes, but i need gravy with thanksgiving dinner. gravy going on my stuffing, on my turkey on my rolls almost the whole plate. so i'm keeping the potatoes because seems weird to have gravy and no mashed potatoes. People saying this a cac thing. I don't know about that, my family black, but we rich as fukk so maybe thats broke nikka tradition.

We had mashed potatos...but then it could end up being like or 2 or 3 potato dishes lol, potato salad, cheese potatos ect.
I feel like all of that shyt starts to get redundant. Like...stuffing is just wet bread my nikka, you can take that off my plate lol
