this "Adele can sing better than Beyonce" is new to me.

anti-Beyonce agenda is heavy on TLR.

one thing i know is a lot of people are debating Beyonce being a "weak vocalist" because Beyonce can do the entertainment aspect well too. So they just debating like a stereotype of an entertainer, like she's Britney Spears. They think she dances to cover up her vocals.

I've learned that people actually really don't much much about music. No way folks really be saying she can't sing if we're going by purely musical metrics.

I think a lot of ppl get tone mixed up with things like range, agility, etc. For example, I don't like Giveon's tone as a singer but I wouldn't say he can't sing, he's just not for me. Tone is subjective so not liking Bey's tone is a matter of preference. Saying she can't SING is an egregious ass lie and Adele is not even the best white girl singer out much less can rock with Bey vocally. It's heresy.

"Soulful" like as if people didn't shyt on Whitney's music.... like as if "soulful" is the only criteria there is for good music

They booed Whitney at the Soul Train Awards and Al Sharpton was even trying to boycott her because they thought Whitney was whitewashed musically. Ppl trying to rewrite history on that for some reason (and that's not a knock against Whit, the community needs to hold that L).
