Looks like all the cbs had good days against the Texans, a guy like prince might be playing too well to slip through waivers

They got acker playing safety as well, I think we know what that means

Gabbert is proven trash

And it wasn't a one year wonder with Kaep. :beli: I know you hate him but he's still the best talent and option on this current roster. Sucks that he's hurt

I was one of the biggest contributors to it last season, but I really just want the best QB to start. If it's Gabbert, so be it. If it's Kap, so be it. Let's see how they both do in the preseason games, because from the TC reports, they're about even right now.:yeshrug:

If Foles can eat under Chip then I think Gabbert can be pretty solid as well.

9ers drafting a QB soon regardless of who starts this year, unless kaep or gabbert have a close to pro bowl level year which i don't see happening.

i'm keeping an eye on eli harold and lemonier. we're gonna need someone to step up and replace brooks because he's done.

i'm keeping an eye on eli harold and lemonier. we're gonna need someone to step up and replace brooks because he's done.
I dont want them to draft a qb, at least in first 2 rounds until the team is set.
meaningless to draft a qb early and watch him struggle on a shytty team, and then repeat process until we hit on some hall of famer.
bum ass franchises do that shyt, not us.

I mean, Joe was drafted in the 3rd round and Steve was poached from a dysfunctional team after been labeled a bust. Garcia was picked up off the streets of Calgary.
That's our successful QBs.

Alex was picked #1 overall and he was pretty damn shytty until team got good. Kaep was picked in the 2nd and he benefited from a stacked team as well; both of them were good on a good team. so lets git gud first, ie team around the qbs. we aren't really close anymore to having a good team anymore. once we build a bully D, then we can think about drafting a qb high

I agree with this overall point, but I think the roster is at a point where we could legitimately take a QB in the first round if the skill matches the pick position. Assuming Kap and Gabbert both play like shyt, CB and WR are the only other 2 positions I'd place over QB in terms of need.

I'm good with this...unless a franchise caliber QB falls into our lap or is easily within reach.
