There was never a "Season Pass" for this game. And like I said, even after The Taken King drops in September, there are 2 more DLCs coming. The thing is, millions still play this game daily... and average 3 hours per session. They've created a beast in terms of community, so even with how bad this roll out is, regular players will continue to fork out the bread for this game.

Does the game open up at some point to some new and exciting areas? I've gotten up to the moon and its been difficult for me to have any real interest in the game. Every mission I've done starts me in the same area, makes me run to the same direction, kill the same 2 - 3 enemies and do one of 3 different end mission types, like protect the robot while it works on a machine, kill a boss, or kill a few waves of the same 2 - 3 enemies.

All of the planets are huge landscapes with multiple areas to explore. The story missions are mainly filler for a basic campaign used to just give players something to do to level up to 20 before the real game begins.

The story missions in the DLC are better than what's in the base game, but for the most part, the Strikes and the Raids provide more variety in terms of gameplay.

Nah, I just gameshare my PS3 joints with them. They eat good off my ps+ joints.

I ended up buying Destiny twice cuz my son wanted it for ps3.
Hence my question, so I don't have to spend $80.
