I So as someone who skipped destiny, am i reading right that this taken king expansion or whatever it is inludes all the dlc and base game? If so i might cop.
Basically the plan activision and bungie have with destiny is 10 years with with constant DLC dropped in between installments and your progress continues throughout
If you don't want to or can't afford to pay for the DLC then you need to skip and play something else. Me personally, I like what they're doing and I know what it is so I'm in. I don't give a shyt about the collection content, I had to google what a emote was.
You can tell the people who have no social life because red bulls have bars on lock. That's only energy drink most bars carry and it's a common drink mixer

I knew since alpha what it was so I have no problem with it.
The $60 version includes everything with the exception of the collectors edition content
If you went out then you'd know that most spots carry red bull exclusively for energy drinks. Nobody's ordering a coffee at 3am on a Saturday at a night spot
This information has been out there. People have a choice whether to go with it or pass so I don't see the issue. nikkas just want something to complain about as usual

There was a response in this thread about being surprised that people still drink red bull. I never said anything about telling people where to get it, I'm saying that it's still a very popular drink and one of the main reasons why it's popular

This is shamelessness all around:
- Luke Smith went from making fun of shills as a "gaming journalist" to being one of the worst ones himself. After that "throw money at the screen" comment, he has no credibility and should just quit.
- Bungie has done the same, on a similar level. They've lost an incredible amount of respect in the gaming community. Whether it's their own decision or Activision's, it doesn't matter. They chose this route.
- Destiny as a brand. I stepped out of the game before the expansions, and with everything that has happened since then (especially this fiasco), I have no intentions of returning. Frankly, I regret buying the game now.
I'll continue to get the most gaming for my buck. A completely different experience, or some armor shaders for twenty bucks? Hmm.

Destiny had an alpha and a beta which were essentially the same shyt and gave you a pretty good overview of what the final product was going to be so if a person bought it expecting anything else then that was a mistake on their part
Bungie and activision never kept any secrets about how they were going to go about things with DLC. And if you're familiar with activision as a company then it definitely shouldn't have been a surprise
Destiny is a borderlands type of game with more polished gameplay, less story as of now, and with a focused pvp element. The fun in this game is getting loot to experiment different builds with and doing the same shyt you did 100 times before slightly different with better or worse results.
If you're the type of person that gets that one OP build and never deviates or tries anything else then I can see where something like this wouldn't appeal to you because it will get old fast. If you like a story driven game then pass because you'll have to look for story and lore while piecing the shyt together, a lot is left to the imagination as of now
Cliffs: the game is what it was and what it always will be. If you bought into the hype of destiny being anything else then you are a gullible idiot that takes whatever marketers throw at you as wholesale

What lie was told to you? You didn't even buy the game so what are you even talking about. You played the beta, wasn't feeling it, then moved on and now a ~year later here you are still commenting on it
