Nah son. That's not the way guns solve problems.

Brandishing is illegal, shooting them is 50/50 :yeshrug: you may get off on a shooting. You're not sitting in front of a judge and explaining why you were brandishing.

If you pull a gun out, you pull it out as a last resort and you use it. It's not a bargaining tool, it's not used to threat or intimidate, negotiate, start a conversation or discussion.

Say it again for the slow dudes in the back. :francis:

Remember, most of these dudes don't own firearms. :ehh:

Seriously? I just don't understand this rationale at all. The system is all fukked up in that case.

Act 1: Dude throws a punch at me
Act 2: I pull my gun out and shoot him and he dies (even if i only fired once)
Act 3: I get off in court because it was self defence.

That's right?

However...

Act 1: Dude throws a punch at me
Act 2: I pull my gun out to try and make him stop
Act 3: I get charged in court for brandishing and "becoming the threat"?

The system would rather you follow through with it and actively shoot/kill someone instead of just warning them? Why is pulling the gun out when you're attacked by someone considered as "you becoming the threat"?

You seem kinda slow.

Slim Thug said it best:
I was taught only reach for the heat if you busting
So when lift this shirt that's the end of discussion

Legally:
“[T]he term 'brandish' means, with respect to a firearm, to display all or part of the firearm, or otherwise make the presence of the firearm known to another person, to intimidate that person, regardless of whether the firearm is directly visible to that person.” 18 U.S.C.

So yeah, you can get charged for showing or implying you got that gotdammit on you. It applies to bank robbers holding their hand in a bag too.

so if he's having the gun for self-defense, gun etiquette to have your gun ready to shoot. so the cocking back and having it loaded won't put him in jail.

however, standing over him and shooting him multiple times will probably get him 10+ for excessive force.
