I hate that game... but I can't stop playing it :mjcry:

Probably because I'm yearning for Dark Souls 3 honestly. I'm :trash: this once that drops

Nah, remember there were ranged bosses, where you had to get some magic or a good bow.

There were some bosses that were damn there impossible using magic or that magic would give you a great advantage.

Depending on your build, when you encountered these bosses you'd have to switch it up. Not to mention the different strategies that come about by using the different types of armor.
Only one I can remember in particular is moonlight butterfly and iirc even then after you dodged enough its shyt it would get tired and land and you could unload on it.

There really wasn't any strategy for armor lol. If you weren't operating with the ability to roll you were gimping yourself. It came down to aesthetics. I've played through Demon/Dark1/2 like collectively 30 times. I'm fanatic about the series. No offense but you didn't even play the DLC which is literally the best DLC in history imo. its like what 60 altogether. thats like 2 or 3 hours of work. I have to question your allegiance to the set :dame:

No. You can tank with heavier armor. Certain weapons work better with a tank character. It's much more than aesthetics.

Seems like you, just like to play one build, which is probably why you didn't find BB disappointing. I like to switch it up.

And like I said I have a strict no DLC policy has nothing to do with this series in particular.

you fight him with a puppy sif :wow:

that dlc's necessary to the story, manus is the alternate final boss of the game. it comes with the pc version if you havent played it yet. Its an amazing piece of content, you should get it when its on a steam sale for $5

The bosses in the DS2 DLC were some of the illest

Sinh :wow:
Fume Knight :damn:
Sir Allone :wow:
When the Ivory King comes out the pits of hell is one of the most trill moments in gaming :wow:

I played literally every build possible in DS2 in my playthroughs. I used like 30 soul vessels in that game on first playthrough. Certain weapons don't work worse or better depending on what you are wearing man. All armor does is provide defense, poise and dictate your mobility. I would argue no weapon inherently works better with a huge lumbering character because for one you cant roll so you have less mobility and have to definitely run a shield as well, but with a tank character you also use more stamina to attack and run limiting the amount of DPS you have in general. I guess if you want to run some bullshyt 50 str requirment hammer with havels armor and just attack through shyt you could play that but your just going to get destroyed against anything that isn't completely stationary.
