IDK about naan of that. But if you an old head and hit free weights. Talking dumb bells...with no stretching/muscle love? You different.
Stretching before lifting, at least for me, makes you too loose for hitting big lifts. Might do a quick cardio warm up to get the blood flowing. But I just do pause reps on the warm up sets as stretching.

I always do dynamic / active stretching before lifting.

Then hours later i'll do some static stretching.

Been injury free all my life and I'm that dude in the gym who's lifts heavy weights, with a regular physique, meaning not some 300lb roider.

You know 99.9% of the coli doesn't lift like that and won't ever provide receipts. Assume if you don't see them in the other thread like that, or The Gym section in general, they're keyboard CrossFitters and don't actually exercise.

Remember, these the same nikkas claiming you need "genetics" and/or "roids" to look like MBJ and them from Creed. :mjlol:

Edit: This thread. :snoop:
The bolded isn’t necessarily true. I forgot that section even exists but I have posts in their from almost a decade ago :hubie:

Honestly never tried 2 plates. I've maxed at 190.
I could never get to 225 either, but at my heaviest I was 156lb bodyweight, benching 185-190 before I got injured. The wild thing was I got injured doing pull-ups I had a trainer that was adamant that I do 100 push-ups and 100 pull-ups every workout. All those pull-ups were pointless, set me back 7 months:francis:

Guy named skeet was putting up 3 no issues

We had this one Florida nikka, i forget his name, he played FB, big brolic nikka, cool as a fan, ain’t cuss, didn’t drink, just chilled, but he slow pressed 280 to warm up, and wore flip flops every where
