TitanFall was almost universally heralded as the best game at e3. I'd say that's a good start to 2014.
There is also sunset overdrive and quantum break. Which post launch ps4 games are you looking forward to

xbox announced all their games already except 2 i think... sony still has like 12 unnanounced exclusives in development

That whole E3 is the biggest show(which airing rights went to Microsoft TV basically) shyt is tottally bogus nowadays with social media and internet streaming
