Only 4.5 GB of ram available to games on ps4

I look at the graph on AMD's page and they are talking about memory ddr3 vs gddr5 and what the difference is. The value of the memory hasn't changed wether its in a custom setup or a standard set up. The memory is the memory period.

Power or not... Sony has like one more shot (really 2) to prove to me that their more powerful system makes the better games. Knack, Octodad, Drive Club don't do that for me. I don't intend to get any 30fps first person shooter... But killzone looks good. One more event with xbox showing off the better looking games and it will be a no brainer. At some point we are gonna have to ask ourselves if its so much more powerful... and so much more easier to code for... How come the games aren't blowing the xbox one's games out of the water.

What XB1 game looks so good though? TF was running on a pc....DR3 aint no graphical powerhouse (I:SS looks better).

Forza? Nothing is going on in the damn game (no weather effects or day/night cycles). It can run 60 fps if aint shyt going on.

But yall will kneel come Gamescom once more games are shown (had to leave somethign for the Euro brehs) and that release date drop.

There has NEVER been a major new game announcment at gamerscon, but you think Sony is gonna skip the most popular gaming convention on earth with with their best titles just to show them at gamerscon. Not gonna happen bruh. Plus they already said it will be a "vita show"

I don't know who this was directed at. But that link is for a traditional pc/laptop configuration. This does not apply to the X1 with its custom setup.

Second Son looks great. That's coming out in April but my guess is it will slip to the Holiday season. I can wait a year and see what happens. Honestly if its just single player I can wait a few years. So far there is nothing so they better deliver. What will it take for it to live up to your hype? Second Son is not enough though its close.

Sony announced on their facebook page the event in August will focus on ps4 games. Probably some more footage for announced games.
