food supply (meat, fruit, vegetables) in the US is the worse and you notice it was soon as you leave this countries sphere of influence. It’s drastic. Africa is so beautiful and Europe is cool as hell. Personally I feel like we have access to the world and we should check it out.

I won’t try to convince you to have more international experiences what I will say is if I had to be confined to this country indefinitely I would be miserable

My girl born and raised in Zimbabwe, has a farm and all that shyt. She got people everywhere and was an international student so she’s been everywhere…

I say that say, I’ve heard everything you just posted then some. I still could care less :manny:

I’ll go with her back home one day but outside of that I’m good. But like I told her, I’ll spend my free time on what I want to spend it on and that type of thing doesn’t appeal to me at all…

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I was traveling in the 90s this isn't even an excuse, you'd go to the travel agent and they'd have books with destinations. Like I said how was it the rest of the world was traveling ?
So to wrap this up. Was it easier or harder? To go to the travel agent, if your town had one vs logging on from your phone on the toilet…

I was in London in the 80s. I stated enough times that people travel. But MORE people travel now cause it’s easier and more accessible

How is this even an argument

Yeah OP not everyone had a network set up for them of upper class people immigrating to the US who were already familiar with international travel.
sounds like a great deal of people who came from other countries had a lot more than "nothing".

You can find all of the perks of an international destination in the same country, nikkas aren't on a landlocked fog island, or permanently hot tropical mosquito zone, complete with "booty air" scent.

you didn't need a passport for Mexico or Canada before 9/11

and why do people always act like usa isn't the full width and almost breadth of a whole continent?

Exactly. It’s not like being in the UK and there’s like 20 countries a “short” flight away. You can literally fit 30 European countries in the US space

Funny how the majority of present day Nigerians only earn less than 500$ a year.

I’m sure with inflation and the lack of growth in that country during 80s/90s that number was exponentially lower.

Yet we got Nigerians in here arguing about having had passports and traveling internationally since the early 90s.

Make it make sense :mjpls:

Passport shaming wasn't a thing yet since the lines between the haves and have nots were more clearly defined.
Also a good chunk of those is likely dual-nationals and naturalized citizens. :skip:

is Passport shaming a black thing?

If you like in Atlanta going to the Rockies in Colorado is basically like going to another country.

1/3 of the US military is black, and the international travel is paid for. :sas2:
