This LP Is Not As Good as The First.

It doesn't have any resemblance to the first either.

Stillmatic was closer to Ilmatic in overall quality than OB4CL2 was to the first.

Is this album slighty overrated because of the mediocre time period(auto tune era) it was released in ?

I never understand how in a few years time nikkaz like Rae and Nas can keep on saying "yeah we definitely will do a Linx 2 track" and then never link up :mjcry: fukking weedheads :sadcam:

Rich and Black :wow:

Cuban Linx II was incredibly dope. There will never be an album like the OG Cuban Linx.

Rza from Enter the Wu/Gravediggaz up until The W is the GOAT, not just in Hip-hop. Bulletproof Wallets and Birth of Prince were ill too.

Thread will flop :mjpls:

only problem with pyrex vision is that shyt is too short :damn:

Album was excellent, really enjoyed it, some real classics on there.

My favorite song on OB4CL 2:banderas:
That Godfather sample :banderas:
Dope album:banderas:

It's that symbol again that W Comin thru bust a shot on your block give me a Soo:ahh:

...and, it's that time of season to dust of OB4CL 2:blessed:

Pyrex Vision/Black Mozart/Canal Street/Surgical Gloves/10 Bricks/Have Mercy just to name a few:ohlawd:

I remember bumping this the night it dropped after getting off work.

Cold Outside was my joint. :wow:

I'm not gonna even front...when I first heard the album in full, I was disappointed. I really was expecting the same sound and dynamic of the first. But after a few more listens I fell in love with the album. @ISO...I agree, its nowhere near the level of the first but it's a great album. There's even some tracks on there that would fit comfortably on the original like 10 Bricks. That track is unadulterated fire. RZA even said he wished he produced that track. Then you have standouts like Have Mercy (that Beans verse :mjcry:), Gihad (Ghost story:mjlol:), Broken Safety, Cold Outside, Ason Jones, New Wu, Pyrex Vision, Penitentiary (underrated as fvck Ghost and Rae storytelling track), House of Flying Daggers (:ohlawd:)...some really dope ass sh!t.

Album would have been better if Rae would have included the skits RZA intended to originally have on it and if he left off a few tracks that really weren't up to par quality wise like Canal Street and the Dre tracks (not a big fan).

Ghost and Rae has been saying that they're working on Cuban Linx 3. I'm hoping it drops and I'm hoping Ghost takes more of the lead in regards to the sound and direction of the album. If so, it could be better than Cuban 2.

if he would have cut like 4 joints and added "walk wit me" then i would label it a classic....10 Bricks is still :whoo:tho...4/5....a certified banga it is....the best album of 2009 it was !

Rae still had it:banderas:

And still do:youngsabo:

still bump it all the time, it restored some feeling :mjcry:

Top 3 WU album of the millennium.
id probably put it in between SC and FC.

My favourite track on the album was a bonus cut

Best album of the year easy:blessed:

:mjcry:beautiful

I recall weeping and sipping on xo cognac to Ason Jones.

I remember it was even doper because everyone thought it might be trash. I believe it leaked same day as Blueprint 3?

Love this album. Only thing it was missing was the followup Nas/Rae/Ghost track :mjcry:
