I usually only do it to oldheads sometimes, on some respect for the elders type shyt. OR when im in a place where there's only a handful of brothers.

But im from the northeast where everyone mugs each other. If you did it to a brother in your age group, youll just get the "do i know you" stare

they'll assume you got them confused w/ someone else, or that something is mentally wrong with you. Kinda sad.

I'm a old soul so occasionally I'll give nod to a brother on the street doing his thing. I'm from NY so cats don't really be on that too heavy (especially the youngins) but again, to each it own. My father instilled in us regardless if you dont know him, show your brother some love; it goes a long way

Yes these young kids are weird. My old neighbor who's 17 use to stiff me on the head nods too. I honestly thought he just didn't like me. But then dude would rush to help me with things or open the door for me.

He'll do all that but won't even say hello if we pass by each other.
