Only Old Heads Give Head Nods Nowadays?

I always give a head nod to brothers I pass on the street. The older ones always nod back with a "how ya doing young blood"


The young dudes? Not so much. Some will nod back and say "sup bruh" but the majority of the time they be on some


I just look at em with the like damn what are you trying to prove by walking around with a stick up the ass? I'm not trying to "test you" or make you look weak or challenge you or none of that hateful bullshyt.

I just like to acknowledge my brehs when I see em, it's bad enough everyone else looks at us like an ant on a sidewalk so no need to get defensive just because I said hi.

I never had that happen until I moved up to the west coast.DOWN SOUTH EVERYONE ON THE STREET GREET EACH OTHER LIKE FAM.

Aint this the truth . And its not just walking everytime i drive by somebody we always wave ESPECIALLY old heads. Idk why but thats what all the old heads did and we picked up on it, And really it just feel disrespectful not to.

This happened to me yesterday in my apt complex. And I made up my mind right then and there, that if somebody gets robbed, heaven forbid, I ain't see shyt.

Why is it that only old heads give head nods? When walking past a brother on campus, I nod my head at dude around my age (21) and they ignore me.
