I remember working at Target 2 summers ago and approaching a brother my age and complimenting his waves and asking what he puts in his hair and he gave me the :childplease: look. Smh I just walked away and went back to my job. Some guys just be a$$holes. Most dudes in the south are friendly and will acknowledge you for the most part though especially if they see you consistently

Yeah, dudes calling nikkas fatherless and shyt. So predictable. :pachaha: If someone heads nod me first I'll give them one back but I'm not out here initiating head nods with random dudes on the street lmao. :mjlol:

I mean... the "fatherless" thing is usually cringeworthy, but in this case it begs the question. Didn't your dad teach you about the nod?

I grew up around mostly black people, so actually for me there was no need to be taught, if it happened it happened.

My dad simply stress speak when spoken to and that's it.

I'm just shocked people are that upset that people don't return a damn head nod. It also begs the question do some of you actually do it because that aspect of civility is actually in you or because you're expecting it in return.

Because I was also taught nobody owes you shyt in this world, especially other black people.:sas2:
