I grew up around mostly black people, so actually for me there was no need to be taught, if it happened it happened.

My dad simply stress speak when spoken to and that's it.

I'm just shocked people are that upset that people don't return a damn head nod. It also begs the question do some of you actually do it because that aspect of civility is actually in you or because you're expecting it in return.

Because I was also taught nobody owes you shyt in this world, especially other black people.

I give every breh I come into contact with the nod. I'm also 32 who grew up hanging out with my dad and his friends. I was always taught that especially in settings where there's very few black people, you have to acknowledge one another's presence.
