Way to not know how to use quotes. And even if they did include factor it in, they clearly did not weight it properly. Immigration is basically the sole reason Trump is where he is right now. And absolutely no Libertarian supports his position on immigration.

All of his other positions -- cut taxes, repeal Obamacare -- are broad talking points which don't really have a specific relation to Libertarianism.

I agree. I brought up some of these points in a post above..in terms of them not prioritizing certain policies as trump is and also the fact that they take into account old statements as well. since he was pro universal health care, that shifts him on that chart a bit left. That was my point.
The only reason I didnt add everything is because there is literally so much there on that page with Trump that the whole thread would look even more cumbersome than it already does with all the blocks of text. I didnt intentionally leave anything out..otherwise I wouldnt have directly linked to two or three different pages regarding analysis of Trump.

I do see some libertarianism with him though. Honestly, deep down, Trump gives no fukks and is hands off socially. I dont think he really cares what people are doing with their social lives or opinions as long as they arent harmful to others. Hes not gonna question same sex marriage or anything like that and is open to marijuana research etc. you dont hear that often from R's other than the Paul Types really. Hes obviously no where near as libertarian as them, but there are some overlaps..what the question really is..is how important are his libertarian leanings to him? that renders the chart and whatever else moot...but considering his past political affiliations and some of the voters he has been plucking from others..it seems as though its resonating a bit because hes got some tea partiers and former rand-ites on board. theres nothing else to indicate hes more libertarian than anything else...but lastly..it does say libertarian leaning conservative..which means he is way more right than center but is yet and still closer to libertarian than establishment candidates (relatively speaking). Remember, this quiz only compares presidential candidates to each other or other politicians that cana nswer those current quizzes. If you applied a different filter to Trumps stances (different time periods or political offices) than they would be compared to those questions and the chart may come out differently.
