The way Ron and Nicole were killed makes it highly unlikely that it was a random act. Perhaps there’s a very minute chance he didn’t kill them, but he was there. You don’t nearly cut off someone’s head, and stab the other victim multiple times unless it’s personal. What happened to them was overkill, which points it directly to someone who was enraged.
