I find it crazy how they have no concept of metaphor
Not too sure if this is a conspiracy or not, but I'd consider this a very well known open secret.
Unless you're extrordiarily smart or talented, true contrarians are not valued in almost every industry not just in Corporations. Every single industry has adapted some form of corporate politics, and in order to move up you can't be contrarian.
This is seen as early as University, perhaps even high school. These institutions are not entirely based of meritocracy and in fact once you reach a certain level it's more about your relationships with professors. I had a professor who flat out said that she's in charge of the admissions for a particular graduate program. Which means even if you got a good grade in her class; which you can't entirely get unless you're on her good side, you likely wouldn't get admitted.
I've heard people not get jobs or advance due to their "communication skills", but had nothing to really do to their ability to communicate, but because they "can't relate with current employees".
A lot of black men in particular struggle, because we're naturally contrarian, whether it be from family structure, upbringing, culture or style.
This is pretty obvious to everyone here, I'm pretty sure posters such as Dr. X to personalities such as Kevin Samuels. I'm just adding that this is prevalent in likely, every industry.
Kyrie Irving is seen as one of the major contrarian in the NBA, and a lot of people within and outside the industry have been citing everything he does and his personality as "crazy", 'hotep", "woke" and all this shyt. You can't truly just be yourself.

The coast guard has a counter terrorism unit never knew about till I spoke with this cat who was in the unit said they did lots of shyt that doesn’t really get talked about drug bust and stopping shyt before it happens he wouldn’t go into super detail but said when they do apprehend somebody they gotta take off they name plates and all that shyt when they did the interrogation cause if they ever got a hold of the info y’all family would be at risk
