How often do you take a step back and consider that these social constructs did not exist in ancient times, much like the geography you have been taught? The region in question has been ruled by many groups throughout man's existence. So even though the seed of birth was not what we consider "natural", why do your arguments never take into account the mother or father's lineage? Surely they would not have been bestowed a child who did not share their racial makeup.

Your military millage WILL vary solely based on your branch, duty station, job and the chance or existence of foreign conflict. As someone who served in the Army and the most recent war, my peacetime/non-deployment experience was that of a 9-5 office job that required the occasional physical labor that pays no overtime and I couldn't quit.
