They already have fully automated pipe wielding machine systems so the Mcdonald's workers are more valuable, because they provide customer service which is only something a human do

Without these workers McDonald's cannot function, this is the value of having them, if the workers stopped coming to work, McDonald's would lose billions of dollars in a day, that's how vital the workers are to the functioning of McDonald's makes money, so that's there value and why they should be compensenated more.

All that mental gymnastics, here's an idea.

Mcdonalds is a company just like any other company they can pay what they want. If someone does not want 12$ an hour, go work someone else. Its a free country.

FYI I've worked these type of jobs in high school, in my early 20a and in college up until I was 30 years old and never complained that I wasn't getting enough money cause I knew what it was. It required no skill and I was literally a body doing a function, but I was alos smart enough to know what it was. Should I blame the guy who had his college paid for by his parents and had a 100k job right out of college at 21, no cause if I had kids I do the same for my son or daughter.

People who have a problem with mcdonalds paying what they pay have an fundamental problem with the way world works. If you want to sit around a complain about wages at fast food restaurant then go ahead but all your doing is wasting your energy. The same people who are saying its like a third world country or its a travesty are the same people who wasted their youth doing nothing and have most likely never been to a third world country.

$12 an hour for a high schooler is not bad. But the average age of a fast food worker has risen dramatically since the 90’s. I read the average age of a fast food worker is now 29 years old. Most people I see working in fast food are grown. Ironically, all the employees I see at Chic Fil A look the youngest and they are known for the better customer service and pay better than most fast food places. Nowadays, even $20 an hour is low wages for a grown ass adult if you live in a major metro area unless you putting in 20-30+ hours a week overtime. They don’t call the working class the working class for no reason. “Essential worker” is a codeword for the working class. Working class folks actually bust their ass in low prestige systemically designed high turnover low wage jobs while work from home folks make minimum 80k a year to jack off during zoom meetings with their screen off.
