do you really think McDonald’s would be able to staff all locations and have the business hours they have if they had to solely rely on teenagers to staff them. Lol. They are already having a hiring crunch as it is.

If you can only get a 12 an hour job and you are not a teen....that is not McDonald's fault

Government regulation is messing up the Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Again, it's easier to latch on to "livable wages" than to understand how price/value manipulation really fukks up everything. Look up the amount of bureaucratic laws that popped up the last 20-30 years to manipulate the supply chain

When you do that, it effects Food, Housing, Child Care, Education, etc as you mentioned gets inflated

This is how I know alot of ya'll regurgitate what you watch on TV. Talking about Economics does not mean I love these Large Corporations. I've said countless times that Walmart and Amazon negatively effect communities because they kill Small Businesses, and their money never circulates in the community because they have power in International Markets and keep their money overseas...

The same Government ya'll love and Billion dollar Corporations are one and the same. The same Government ya'll love make these laws and make Corporations even more powerful than they already are to oppress the population. Government and Billion Dollar Corporations have worked together since the late 1800s. They do it to destroy competition of Small Businesses and weaken the working class

Learning about Economics and it's History ain't easy, I get it

I know this will go over your head and you'll continue to parrot "You hate the poor"... "Livable Wage" cause it sounds sexier

:manny:
Dude is 180'ing here to save face, you not slick. A post ago you was blaming stimulus checks and unemployment money in a typical coli capitalist rant. This shyt not going over nobody head, you just sound like another greedy pawn this system churned out.

Fact is liveable wage is directly relevant to inflation. Inflation has gone up without wages to going up to match since the 70s (executive compensation never stopped going up tho :mjpls:), this didnt start with no damn stimulus check.

Before inflation left wages behind 12 bucks an hour was enough for some folks, even less. And those people being able to afford a life with those wages ensured that those positions would actually be filled, thus businesses and society functions. Telling people (x profession) doesn't deserve to make enough to live a modest life just ensures that profession becomes permanently maliged and understaffed.

Rolling out the red carpet for automation while everyone chases their high earning dreams of being rappers, athletes, pro gamers, tiktok influencers, IG models etc. What a perfectly sustainable economic model

FWIW the money that came from covid relief packages went overwhelmingly to big corporations and wall street.
Why the $2.2 Trillion-Dollar Bailout Benefited the Rich
But we'll be damned if Republicacs won't get you to blame it on some broke person for getting a 1000$ stimulus check. :snoop:

$12 a hour is a perfectly good wage to work at McDonald's IMO
Agreed honestly. 15 dollars in fast food sound ridiculous to me. Now if you're a shift manager making $15 then that's cool.

By the same token I feel sorry for the states where the min wage is $7.25 or $8.00. Thats slave labor.
