Dude is 180'ing here to save face, you not slick. A post ago you was blaming stimulus checks and unemployment money in a typical coli capitalist rant. This shyt not going over nobody head, you just sound like another greedy pawn this system churned out.

Fact is liveable wage is directly relevant to inflation. Inflation has gone up without wages to going up to match since the 70s (executive compensation never stopped going up tho :mjpls:), this didnt start with no damn stimulus check.

Before inflation left wages behind 12 bucks an hour was enough for some folks, even less. And those people being able to afford a life with those wages ensured that those positions would actually be filled, thus businesses and society functions. Telling people (x profession) doesn't deserve to make enough to live a modest life just ensures that profession becomes permanently maliged and understaffed.

Rolling out the red carpet for automation while everyone chases their high earning dreams of being rappers, athletes, pro gamers, tiktok influencers, IG models etc. What a perfectly sustainable economic model

FWIW the money that came from covid relief packages went overwhelmingly to big corporations and wall street.
Why the $2.2 Trillion-Dollar Bailout Benefited the Rich
But we'll be damned if Republicacs won't get you to blame it on some broke person for getting a 1000$ stimulus check. :snoop:

If a country lacks a manufacturing, skilled trade, and agricultural base... their economy will eventually crumble. So I guess America wants to crumble :yeshrug:

April 2020

Only 5-10 companies own most of America's resources, influence, and power

A Walmart can come in your neighborhood and decimate the whole economic structure in 6 months

Verizon can buy out a small business cable company to erase competition

Don't ya'll love Corporatism :blessed:

May 2020

Another way to look at it is that he's cornering the market for his benefit. That in turn makes small businesses dissapear... the same small businesses that create jobs 10x greater than Bezos can

Similar to a Walmart opening up in your neighborhood killing all the small businesses, and robs the wealth of the community because the Money doesn't circulate

Ain't Corporatism awesome? :troll:

Sept 2021

Yeah I'm convinced you're a parrot at this point. I literally said it IN THIS THREAD. It's in bold. If you want to skip and not read it that's on you

Everyone should be paying taxes, wealthy or non wealthy. The problem is that higher taxes doesn't effect the wealthy at all, they have the money to dodge them. It effects the middle class because they pay the most taxes

You know what limits Corporation's power? Competition

The preference needs to be on strengthening the Small Businesses. That is the ONLY way the Corporations can't create a monopoly on production and supply. And Small Businesses are the main reason why communities and neighborhoods gain wealth. Job creation will skyrocket with more Small Businesses thriving

Put a Walmart in the middle of a neighborhood. See how poorer that community becomes. Because no money is circulating into the community. They are going instead to their offshore bank accounts with lower tax rates

Sept 2021

Socialism - Government having monopoly on Production, Distribution, Prices, and overall Economic planning

Read about the Gilded Age if you want background information. Corporations are Government's economic muscle to make their plans come to fruition. Corporations have the legal and economic power to destroy competition. Government uses them to do that and they get their cut of the profits

Look at the Railroad laws in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Laws by the Government were created so the large Railroad companies could have a monopoly on building Railroads across the country. And they made Billions

Any more excuses? :ohhh:

If you want me to teach you about Economics 101 and that Corporations and Government work hand in hand, let me know. One day you're gonna stop quoting the media with Socialist slogans and actually learn this Economics game :yeshrug:

I've been fukk corporatism for years as well, jumping to that topic from "they don't deserve to make a living wage" is the stance switch in this thread.

The last quote where you try to juelz a bridge from socialism to this era's American corporatism shows not even you know what you're talking about. Its the complete opposite here. Corporations influence the government via lobbying to put their agendas before everybody else's no matter how unpopular. They own the means to production & distribution, & have way more wealth than the gov.

Anyway I see you're the type to just talk at people so whatever have a good night.

Like I said, your thoughts are incongruent. "Livable wage" is ignoring the Economic factors that influence salary
And at the bolded. Are you kidding me, do you know how much Billions the IRS generates each year? And how much Municipalities generate from Property Taxes?

That's why you are looking over the books I mentioned in the thread. You don't want to address how Government and Law INCREASED the power of Corporations. Government are the direct reason Corporations are this powerful in the first place. That's why you are fleeing this conversation

Do you know Corporations are able to file for Personhood? They are able to have rights like a human. Meaning Corporate Executives can hide behind horrible financial decision making and bailouts, and they will NEVER be personally liable. All made possible by the Government and the Laws they create

You can juelz all you want, but the connection can not be ignored

The govt is going to have to step in and deal with affordable housing. This country is on the verge of collapse as inflation will eat away any wage increases.
Literally all it will take to fukk the country right now is to take away any existing social program.

Cut food stamps, cut unemployment, cut section 8, and this country is going up in flames.

Especially if they get rid of section 8. It’ll be a whole ass civil war, not even exaggerating peak chaos. Riots on a level before seen in the history of western civilization.

Its a sense of envy. Its "i struggled when I was in that position and its not fair that they want to escape the struggle I had to go through. If they're successful and get a higher wage that means my efforts didn't mean anything. They need to feel the same pain i did"

I always remind those people that their gain does not have to be your loss. Other countries don't have this problem, why shouldn't America be the same? If a nikka working at McDonald's in Finland can afford rent in a city living on his own, why can't that happen in your state?

So then in States where costs are less McDonalds should pay more right ?

how much is McDonalds paying in Mississippi?
Why would it cost less? Thats why I said $2-4 million. McDonalds are independently owned franchise. To franchise the name you need to pay McDonalds around $1 million (rather Mississippi or California). The land and construction in Mississippi you are still looking at near $1 million.

these are your starting costs, before you pay anyone or buy inventory.

We know what’s coming. And it will cost less than it cost to employ a human for a year.
