Is he even a face? He hasn't done anything face-like since HHH turned on him.

Everything he's done has been in character with his heel persona or been self serving despite doing things to other heels. If he's a face, it clearly hasn't been defined by the writing or his character yet.


That said, have him fight and face Owens and Jericho and legit have a chance to cheat but turn it down to beat Owens legit. Even if he loses after this, the shift in character would be evident and something to build on.

Or hell... build up to a triple threat/4 way match with him, Owens/Jericho and Reigns. If he's in there with Reigns, the fans will DEFINATELY side with him and build from there.

So far, it's been extremely awkward. He's yet to do something or have something done to him that puts him firmly in face territory.

He's just a former a$$hole who is still a semi-a$$hole fighting even bigger a$$holes now, and that's hard for fans to get behind unless you have the charisma of a Rock or Stone Cold.

If booked correctly, HIAC can be a big stepping stone for his face progression.

I feel like he's just now starting to act like a face and work like a good guy in the ring, but it's been pretty awkward for weeks because it's obvious the writers have no direction for him. They should have turned him the night he came back. Fans were ready to cheer him after the injury but they kept him heel just because.



Yeah, his reign has been pretty disappointing so far. But this is WWE so what was I expecting? He needs to move past Rollins, beat him clean, and get new challengers. It's not going to do him any favors if he ends up joining The Authority.
