Great documentary. This is southern bliss.
I didn't know they produced what's gonna be. That song has to be the most powerful single of all time. From the intro guitar to their vocals. It was a perfect record.

Did anybody else peep ol boy who wrote the hook and worked on waterfalls say "I was working in the hotel then shyt I still am today" wtf? Why is he still working in a hotel? That boy didn't get paid or any royalties from it? I wonder if the even credited him if thats the case

Marqueze Ethridge
He's got hella credits, but yeah that tripped me out too lol. It shows everybody can't really be full time musicians. Or maybe he was at the time and went back to working at the hotel when the work dried up

This. That tripped me out. Dude said it so casually, I had to rewind it. Damn the music game can be vicious.

ONP x Manager x Publicist x Elliott Wilson = they'll be on rap radar podcast soon

......
I listened to a podcast with some folks talking bout the documentary and they brought up a good point. There were some loose ends, ex. for the uninformed, why were Bobby Valentino, Ludacris, and Future in the documentary?

I watched it this morning. Pretty good. What stood out to me was how Rico was talking about the publishing and how he wanted the artist to have 50% or something like that. And then he said something like " if I was puff, I'd want at least 75%"
:mjlol:
And sleepy said " back then, everybody had their own lane. Didn't have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos "Lol
Meanwhile Puff all in the doc praising them. I just thought it was funny
But on a side note, Rico wade mother should never want for anything. She housed all them dudes in her house for 3 or 4 years while they made music
shyt I don't know about anyone else but my momma would've been like :camby:
