The worthiness of Space Jam to adults when it's a movie for kidsz. :mjlol:
exactly, and people are naming Kobe when most lil kids who were around our age growing up when the 1st one came out have no idea who Kobe is right now, hell most lil kids don't even know who the looney tunes are outside of bugs and daffy :heh:

this should have happened back in 2010-2011.

The :flabbynsick: part is this geezer trying to say there's no personalities now
But who of those personalities have reach? Barkley and them were huge in their own right, people who weren't into basketball knew them. That's not the same with a Blake Griffin (who to me seems the best fit for this role, he's got good comedic timing and does a great job in all his commercials), if people have parents like my mom, these other current personalities elicit a "who dat" :swaggywhat: reaction

Anyway, I agree it's too late for Bron to be the star of this, 09-13 was the best window for him. Steph is the kids choice currently, but he's too dry, definitely don't see him being a believable actor.

Lastly, do kids even watch looney toons? Are they in rotation? Looney toons was big as shyt when I was young, mad people had looney tunes merchandise (binders, decals, clothes), the cartoon was part of our childhood, i remember going to the hood photo spots and them having all sorts of loony tunes backdrops

No grown ass men shouldnt give a fukk about this movie other then taking their kid to see it. :mjlol:

I'm just baffled over the people acting like the movie was Oscar material. Jordan's acting was horrendous. The movie was for kid safe fukkery and I don't see how it will be any different with Lebron. They'll add Kevin Hart to the movie to make I bet they will :mjlol:

it's going to fail, because there is nobody has been close to jordan's star power, looney tunes are out dated and flabby and sick, kids don't give a fukk about no damn bugs bunny.

Some ideas need to be left in the past.
Eh, you say that but shyt like Power Rangers is getting a feature length film and every other few months Nickelodeon and Disney hype up bringing back their old cartoons from the early 90s.

Space Jam director Joe Pytka doesn't think a sequel to the live-action/animation basketball film is a good idea.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Pytka was blunt aboutSpace Jam 2 with Cleveland Cavaliers star Lebron James. "Don't do it. It's doomed," he said.

"Michael Jordan was the biggest star on the planet."

The Space Jam filmmaker was calling attention to the fact that James has arguably already been surpassed in the NBA by Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. And the sequel won't even be out for at least a couple of years.

"When we did Space Jam, there was a perfect storm of players and ex-players available — Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing," said Pytka. "They all had a persona that complemented the film. There are none around like that now."

He is right though no one wants to see the second best player in the NBA, like Clyde Drexler starring in the first space jam.

Jersey sales this year:
1. Curry
2. Kobe
3. Bron
