Oh you're one of those dudes. :francis:

Lol dude averaged 20 as a 39-40 year old guard. 2nd on team in rebounds.

I don't put 40 ppg past mj. Literally he could do everything. Best finisher, strong, quick first step. Other players and coaches say it yet somehow it's unfathomable he'd get 40 ppg when he's done over 35 twice?

He's not averaging that in this day and age. Not only is it unrealistic from a team standpoint (he's not going to be surrounded by enough trash to put up the volume that's required to average 40 ppg), defenses are A LOT better with athletes that are closer to his size/athleticism that he faced during his peak seasons, and there's a significant margin in average pace between now (95) and the late 80s (100, 99 and 100).

Tri State Area

There's plays/sets they run in or out of and variances of (their offense is basically a twist of the Spurs motion offense with triangle offense principles): motion weak, motion strong, double drags, double exits, weaves, split actions, split cuts, off screen/decoy-ISO swing back in the lane, decoy elevator door screens baseline cuts that are complex. And that's only mentioning a few. The Warriors don't have a standard offense, even if you took out the fact that it's the most high-powered offense of all time.

:patrice: do you nikkas know just how dumb y'all sound when y'all say shyt like this with no back up as to what would be different. shyt is fukkin retarded. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW HANDCHECKING AND HARD FOULS WOULD STOP SOMEONE BETTER THAN A ZONE DEFENSE.

nikkas really think the ability to track a nikka with your hand would have more of an effect than the benefits teams get from zone defense :mindblown:

These two videos basically sum it up..It used to be another video on Youtube that pissed still isn't on there detailing the gauntlet Kobe had to go thru dealing with the Celtics Zone Defense in the 08 Finals..Its amazing how he was still getting off considering how they were double/triple teaming him off the ball & on ball plus the hand checking & fouls they were getting away with in that finals:wow:
This is all i could find

Dude wouldn't be able to stop Curry either.

They're going to have to somehow change to rules to eliminate Steph's effectiveness, but I just don't think you can because basketball's biggest prize is shooting. You'd end up hurting everybody else much worse.

Play physical against Steph, and with his handle he'll make you pay while making you look foolish. They'll get shaken to the ground for a lay-up, then they'll back off and he'll drain a 30 footer like nothing in front of them next time down the court. That's an ego kill.

What rules would they change?

That's what I'm saying, I don't know if a rule change would make any difference. If it were a drastic rule change, Curry would still be significantly better than everyone else because shooting a basketball is the best skill in basketball.

I feel Curry on that. While some points they have made are valid, its SUPER EASY to say what would have happened in your time. And Stephen Jackson talking about his Warriors would have beat them and Ceballos saying the same about his Suns just sounds a little far fetched knowing neither of those teams won championships.

Oscar being bitter ain't nothing new if you know anything about him....BUT, he got a right to complain. Read up on his history. From HS ball in Indiana, college ball at Cincy, to his time in the league. HE is the reason for FA in the NBA
I don't agree with the old timers about the NBA no longer being great. But at the same time, players like Big O have been THROUGH IT!! They really have. So it behooves me that people in this thread wouldn't understand where that bitterness comes from.
