Can't even joke around in this thread because a nikka might end up on the news and shyt.

Babies cry. It's their only means of communication. They can't say "I'm hungry" so they cry. They can't say "I need my diaper changed" so they cry. They can't say "I have gas" so they cry.

It's your job to figure out what's wrong. Sometimes they just wanna be held and rocked. They may wanna be held in a certain way. I remember my son wanted you to stand up in hold him, like it made a fukkin difference. Lil nikka you being held regardless. :stopitslime:

Don't just let em cry though. Not a baby. That fukks with their brain development. They need to know they're loved.

Just be patient, breh. I know a lot of young fathers aren't but that really is the key. Please don't end up on that summer jam screen. :sadcam:
Real talk think back to ur childhood and some of the fukked up things ur own parents did. Try not to make those mistakes

Them Lo Lifes...
They do mimic small creatures but dogs naturally dislike high pitched noises in general.

That's why when you whistle dogs come running. The high pitch noise interests them but they won't chew on you because they know you're human.
I dont think you are factoring frequencies that dog can hear.

If a dog doesnt fukk with you, a simple whistle wont work.

Dogs d8nt inherently "dislike" high pitch sounds..they are more keen to that as a response due to years of conditioning.

Now a consistent pitch inaudible to the human ear, will most def drive a dog a lil batty..

one thing i have learned is there is no one right way to do things. every child is different , what might work for one kid might not work on the next child. as a parent u gotta be a detective and figure shyt out. as long as yo baby is happy and healthy dayum what somebody else does.

Listen to this woman.

Get to know your baby and you will know when something is wrong. Just make sure you patient enough to work it out before you leave him crying.

Okay I'm seeing some awful advice in here thank God for @Pool_Shark and @Jesus Shuttlesworth who offered the most realistic advice

Firstly, if you are getting agitated you can leave the room for a short (short!) while and recoup but the whole 'leave the baby to cry till they sleep' advice isn't the best crying from a baby means something and just allowing a baby to cry for hours affects their hormones and brain growth.

Secondly, when a baby cries it means they want something or they are irritated. If the child is well fed, well winded, nappy clean and doesn't need anything and they usually start crying then, they are irritated.

Now we have an irritated baby. Most babies HATE lying on their back when they are awake and in a 'play' mood. They also hate being static. As @Pool_Shark and @Jesus Shuttlesworth said babies LOVE movement.

If you own a car put your child on the back seat and drive a few blocks (the child will be asleep within 15 minutes). Or put your baby on your shoulder and walk around the house. The baby usually likes when you are standing up and walking. For whatever reason the movement soothes them a lot. A baby who cries in one position while you are sitting down will love it when you are standing up.

As you're carrying her on your shoulder around the house make sure you do a lil 2 step rocking and just pat her.

You'll be fine.

You didn't have a baby just to stick it in a cot all day, they need to 'play' and be distracted too just like you do and those little things will really help.

Also if you don't already have one of these invest in one

Place the baby this way in this carrier device and just go around the house doing your errands. Babies usually love looking at walls so seeing you going around the house the changes in colours will excite them. It's great for giving them movement while allowing you to go about your business.
