Other than fighting games what disadvantage does pc gaming have

I haven't played anything in a while, but developers were always salty as hell because of the PC modding communities. I used to make rim packages for GTA games. I remember making some spinners, LOL and Rockstar was salty as hell, sending me emails to stop. Used to do all kinds of shyt for Madden before they cut the cord. They were mad at all the shoes, gloves, stadium mods. They would always shut down the message boards, LOL. Ahh those were the days. That's something consoles will never do.

same goes for the dude who said FIFA 14 is apparently better on PC - cmon fam, you might have slightly better graphics, but it ain't better cos you can't play in the same way you can on console and you know this.

uh, you can hook the PC up to a big screen and use a controller. how would something like Fifa 14 be different?

simple fact is, the console is there.... you turn it on, everyone grabs a controller, you play.

i get that you might get higher specs on a PC, but that shyt does not lend itself to an easy multiplayer gaming experience with your boys like a console does.

you put the PC near the TV and hook it up. if your PC is on the other side of your mansion, that's a decision you made. just like if I want to move a console from my mancave to the living room, I have to physically move the box and connect some wires

Why would you have to play on a small screen?

I dont transport my pc, it stays next to my xbox/ps n everything else. Its sole purpose is to play games

well we all know pcs are better for gaming. and have better everything but the main thing is that consoles have better people playing them....not some in the cut nerds.

Most of the shyt in here is just that - shyt. PC is just another platform. Some stuff is great, some stuff is ok. Depending on what you buy, it may not be a major hassle but it may also not be OMG1080p60fpsOMG visuals. I mostly do my PC gaming on a laptop. I hook up an HDMI and my wireless pad and that's as convenient (or moreso) as any of my consoles. I bought it last year and it's more powerful than last gen but probably not as powerful as XBone/PS4. It doesn't have some of my favorite games like Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta but it does have some of my other favorite games that aren't available on other platforms (Frozen Synapse, Chivalry, Speedrunners, The Swapper, Rogue Legacy, Binding of Isaac). I'd rather play shooters on PC but I don't think it makes any sense to play sports game online on PC yet. Everyone has a PC so playing games on it is already an option - most people just don't even want to try.


And talking about it's some nerd shyt? It's video games. All of you play video games, primarily physically alone. I've played more games with friends in the same room as me on a PC than anything else this year. Again, that's partially because I use a laptop and I can bring it with me wherever I want. Options...

I think console players would lose their fukking minds if they knew the multiplayer experience for games like call of duty and battlefield were 100x better and more customization on PC.

Thats what got me so about call of duty being played "competitively" on xbox. Not only is it less competition because youre using a controller, but you cant even edit the servers and up until recently it was peer to peer hosting
