This is just like the other thread with folks talmbat Beyoncé; nobody is denying that Usher has “hits”
but a lot of his chit is forgettable, microwave fodder. Nobody cared about none of these^ the second after the last time they got played the last time on the radio.
This is the Versuz format: give us Ushers 15 that matter out of all his material,
and give us Chris’ (or whoever’s) 15 that matter and we’ll see what’s what.
...it’s even better that they pick them, because that shows what they think compared to
everybody else about their own records.

I meant theoretically...but since you did,
(A) Usher would probably not pick the exact same 15 you did.
(B) Out of Usher’s whole illustrious career, you basically just took from 3 albums
(C) I would take the bolded off and replace them with “Think Of You”,
“Can U Get Wit’ It”, “Caught Up”, and “OMG”
What do you think a Verzuz is? It's 20 songs. Most of those are coming from the best albums of an artist's catalog. They don't have to play songs from every single album. It's basically career highlights.

My point is it doesn’t matter how much more catalogue an artist has over another one in a Versuz format if you’re only gonna pick songs from less than half of their catalogue. Usher got 9-10 albums - if his “career highlights” only come from 3 albums, maybe he ain’t as consistent as you would have us believe.
Breh, none of these are about consistency. Usher has some iconic and classic songs and like mist artists, every album doesn't have them. So yeah, those records are spread out throughout his catalog mostly near the front end. I din't think most people understand, Usher's biggest album came when he was 10 years deep. That's unprecedented especially when he was multi with his second album even after the first one flopped.

Usher's not even a 2000's artist. He had one of the bigger R&B albums of the 90's. He was able to maintain success well into the 00's and it wasn't some teeny bopper bubblegum run as you're suggesting. Adult R&B stations play Usher. Chris Brown falls into the category you're referring to.
