Excuse me. You do know that a half Black man started this whole conversation, yes?
That's just one example though. There are countless examples in the archive of black women spearheading our social problems. Here's one

Meh... I appreciate the solidarity aspect of their act but this aint really accomplishing shyt :childplease:
Plus I dont like them getting on their knees for the anthem if the anthem is what they are protesting. I say just sit on the fukking floor. KNEELING is what you typically do when you pray or are in front of someone to whom you are showing respect to. You're kneeling to the same anthem you're protesting? GTFOH.
If black U.S. athletes wanna protest america's injustices towards them just walk out the Olympics and/or any international competitions for a decade+. Hell pull off what Chris Kaman did and elect to play for another country .:sas1:
That would really piss off white americans :pachaha:
You're looking too deep into it. I agree that it's more of a symbolic thing and doesn't change anything at the end of the day, but it's a small step in the right direction. There are better ways to insure they hear us, like the ones you mentioned. And they aren't kneeling, they're taking a knee. It's more of a football thing.
