This. It happens far more than people care to admit. Black communities are not wealthy...you arent going to get money by helping blacks. You are more likely to stay broke and poor by helping blacks solely. That's why regarless of black people socioeconomic background when they start out if they eant to stay wih money they are more likely to associate to whites and extending olive branch to whites a la Common.

There are hundreds of these Black ran, anti-Black on Black violence organizations that are barely funded, that put in work behind the scenes. These communities are the way they are because of social problems that HAVE been brought on by decades of racism. The problem is, you're unable to see that taking personal responsibility and chastising racial inequality shouldn't be mutually exclusive. Blacks weren't born gang bangin, shooting, and slanging, there are certain conditions that breed these people. These Black organizations HAVE taken personal responsibility, and the general public in those neighborhoods for the most part acknowledged their waywardness and their kids waywardness, but at the same time the social factors need to change and calling that out isn't a cop-out nor is it an excuse. And a big reason for the protest against officers are because officers won't be held accountable for their dastardly deeds and corruption(Chicago is one of the most corrupt cities in the US, incase you forgot), the same way a Black criminal will. Everyone(yes including White politicians, officers, senators, judges, record labels, Vice, Complex, Funeral Homes, Churches, Prisons) are benefiting from the social dysfunction in these neighborhoods. Why not call out the outside factors while simultaneously taking personal responsibility and putting an end to the violence themselves?
Places like Chicago are a different beast and do not represent the entire state of Black America.

I'm very pissed about the 9 year old being killed. I'm very pissed about the lifestyle his father lived that put his son in harms way, I'm very pissed about a 20 year old model being shot at a fukking bus stop after visiting her grandmother. I bang my head every single day hearing about the shyt I hear.
I still have visions of the people I've seen murdered and shot.
So fall back and miss me with the bullshyt.
And like I said before, the people that dress like that, that can even afford the real shyt or the knockoffs, live a certain lifestyle that is very noticeable.
