So he couldn't wrangle up some paternity leave or more time to help with his newborn? Even with another job lined up, that is risky.
sometimes a man gets to a place where he'd rather have no job than to stick around...job might have been making breh suicidal, never know whats going on in a mans head.

from what i know, 3 flights minimum a bi -weekly (6 day weeks), sometimes he has to drive 4-6 hours to customer hub for a meeting..12-15 teams meetings a day, and like i said he wasnt just VP, phone calls all type of hours after working hours. he was acting director/VP since we lost our on site director earlier this year...man was basically doing 2 jobs.

dont care if they offered me 300k, i wouldnt do it.

Yea that does sound taxing. I don’t work in corporate so I’m lost. This seems like a horrible time to quit a job does he have another one lined up? Bc his wife finna leave him before long.
don’t he get a severance check?

this is why i always tell my cousins to keep your cost of living LOW...with the right amount of savings, you can live life on cheat mode for a year or 2 without a job

Words to live by.

I don't currently plan to leave my job, but if I do I'm good for a year or two. Not having a car note helps a lot.

This.

And his issues sound like they are a diet problem not a traveling problem.

That's not necessarily true, diet isn't the only thing that can cause high blood pressure.

He said diabetic and hypertensive.

Sounds like he isn’t exercising or eating right.

I know plenty of people who have done this.

A doctor told a McKinsey friend of mine she’d be dead within 10 years if she didn’t change her lifestyle.

That was an impossible ask given the profession so she eventually resigned and went to work for a client.
To be fair nobody actually likes working at McKinsey lol

But if you want to work in strategy or corp dev, it's a holy grail on your resume

Some roles are meant to be transient, short-lived experiences for greater gain

McDowell's
Only a breh would do the honorable thing and resign

A CAC would fail upwards and keep it pushing

I get it though, brehs will die more often from cardiovascular issues than anything else after the age of 30.

I ain't finna die so shareholders can maximize stock value :unimpressed:
