Only making this thread because he is a breh, gave a nikka hope :mjcry:. This man makes $225k a year and has been with our company 6 years, he literally came into the morning managers meeting and told everyone this will be his last day with our organization, said his blood pressure is so high he's near hypertension/diabetic levels from all the meetings/traveling etc, he just had a daughter and is afraid he'd die on the job and not see her grow up...basically saying the money isn't worth compromising his health and i fully agree.... :francis: ..

earn 6 figures and die, breh :francis:..he's most likely got atleast a couple hundred grand saved up so he should be good, drives a porsche truck and a 7 series bmw.

:ufdup:6 figures aint worth ya life.

1. Ducktales, no one quits without something else lined up. He got a better offer and didn't want to sound greedy.:duck::duck::duck:

2. He prolly was about to get ousted by the board. The economy is in the tank buddy and when your E-Board or upper management start getting the hatchet. Prepare yourself.

3. His stress is elsewhere. Dude prolly about to get divorced.
I get your overall point. But unless he's on Wall Street some of this shyt ain't that serious. But then again, I work for myself so....:manny:

To be fair nobody actually likes working at McKinsey lol

But if you want to work in strategy or corp dev, it's a holy grail on your resume

Some roles are meant to be transient, short-lived experiences for greater gain
She was the rare nutcase who enjoyed it. :pachaha:

Now she’s head of strategy at her former client and can’t believe she didn’t leave sooner. Much more sustainable lifestyle but I think she misses it every now and then

Sometimes it really isn’t worth it. I’ve had jobs where I would take less money if it reduced my stress levels.
I did a job interview once and the guy conducting the interview told me to my face I'd be working 70 hours a week. I took $25k less to take a job that only required 40 hours. I called them to tell them thanks for considering me for the position but I've decided to pursue other career options, the lady was on the phone asking me "are you sure." You only get to be young once, I'm not spending it stressed out at work.

Glad to hear her success. I joke, but yeah some folks are wired for that line of work and others just do it for the pot of gold at the end lol

Whenever you see a senior level employee suddenly posting daily on LinkedIn, using hashtags and engagement farming, changing up their title to showcase skills that would show up in a boolean search...

Instead of the actual title, like going from "AVP, Marketing @ Org" to "B2C Storyteller, Servant Leader, AI Enthusiast"

You know what's coming lol

These are the same people who look down on those who put up an "Open to Work" banner because it makes candidates look "desperate". Meanwhile they think they're slick doing it this way lol...

I hope you’re getting ready to apply for his job.
