Pacs my GOAT so naturally it should be one of his albums but when I sit back and think about it I've listened to Dogg Food probably 3 times as much as MATW or Makaveli. I still think from an objective standpoint Death Certificate might be the GOAT hip hop album tho.

Outside of Dogg Food, Retaliation, Revenge, and Get Back, and I guess Kurupt's first two solos, I've never ventured further into their discography. Kinda like Snoop after Tha Last Meal.

You never listened to Dillinger & Gotti? Never hear RAW, Life I Lead? If you stopped after Streetz Iz A... and Last Meal you've missed out on a lot of classic Snoop/DPG material.

This chit bangs, but the title is not gonna help.
As many of you have said, the first is a classic.

Its definitely a risky move but he made a worthy sequel imo, I've front to back'd it 3 times now and enjoy it more each time

But you know what? So was the first Dogg Food - and Daz damn near duplicated that with Tha Doog Pound Gangsta LP,
and I will die on that hill.

To be honest that's an underrated album, the joint with George Clinton, Same Dream, Mama Said, Ambitionz and F The Police flips, there's maybe only 2 or 3 tracks I skip on that album.

Damn Damn sounds just like he did in 1997 and that’s a good thing.

Yeah there's a bunch of songs on here that could easily pass as unreleased 90s joints if I didn't know better

Soopafly too. Also thought he was pretty dope despite not releasing a lot of music.

Yeah hes way overdue for a new album. Aside from being Daz engineer he really works pretty sparingly, his appearances the past decade have been few and far between.
