Not following your logic here.

Saying "Outkast needed Dungeon Family, Hav and P did all the work" is over looking the fact that Mobb Deep was from NY and Outkast is from ATL, which wasn't really on anyone's radar back then, rap-wise. Being from NY was a hell of a lot bigger advantage than having the Dungeon Family in the 90's.

Fred.

I'm just saying Hav did the beats and they both did the rhyming it's so close that just why I give them the edge.

Outlast needed Dungeon Family

Its like dudes who argue for Prince over Mike cause Prince did all the work so going by this Boyz 2 Men is unquestionably the G.O.A.T. R&B group can't have it both ways.

So with that said Mobb>>>>Outkast ain't nobody fukking with 90's P

OutKast produced a lot of their own music and produced for others. Check the credits. They did a lot of work on ATLiens Aquemini. Stankonia is mostly produced by them and outside of maybe two songs, all of Speakerboxxx/Love Below is produced by them.

Goofy video. We all know Outkast are the more commercially successful group. They made alternative rap, and that always sells more among cacs.

Listening to the tracks in the video though, and it's incredible how much better Mobb are than Outkast. :wow: Actual, rugged hip hop has never been popular with the mainstream unless someone someone got murked/near-murked

Y'all real good at trying to shyt on Outkast...they produced they own shyt mostly too....its just when the mainstream "discoverd" them in 2000 it made them seem "pop"...but they were straight hip hop from 93 til 99

No they weren't. They never were straight hip hop. They were hip hop mixed with RnB and some soul, which is easier to digest for a casual than a Mobb Deep. Organized Noize said Outkast was always a mix of a stuff in one of their VLAD interviews. They shouldn't even have to tell you. It's obvious when you listen to their stuff.
