It's obvious that their sound from the get-go is alternative hip hop. Something more along the lines of RnB/pop/funk. They even knew that which is why they were worried about sounding too 'p*ssy' so they straddled that line. And the results were good. But to pretend like they were 100% hip hop is disingenious. What's wrong with saying "yeah, Kast are dope when it comes to that alternative semi-pop/RnB/funk rap"
