What's do you mean by this, elaborate.

I mean, if you knew what every person in organizations you "support" did
when they went home, you'd find yourself not "supporting" a lot of things/places.

Did you remove yourself from supporting the 49ers in the aftermath of the
Ray McDonald and Aldon Smith debacles? If they came back to the team, would
you regret each time they got a sack? Or do you have the mental maturity to be able
to seperate their professional selves from their personal selves?

Sas and Skip were getting heat all over the internet and in articles yesterday for totally ignoring the Hardy pics on yesterday's show and sticking up for him in the past.

So today they're both in fear expressing phony outrage about Hardy on twitter :mjlol:
The pics really ain't drop until the afternoon....

As usual, Bomani seemed to have the most reasonable take on the situation:ehh:

The Right Time with Bomani Jones- Hour 1

Said if people really "cared" they would stop watching Dallas games, but they won't, cause its just lazy/fake outrage. :yeshrug:

That's a pretty narrow-sighted view.

A lot of people aren't watching Dallas games every week, many fans just watch their squad.

I think honestly the people with the most say here should be the people and fans of the Cowboys, as their tax money went to help pay for that stadium and that new Cowboy park their building too.

But really, it is what it is, i`m not even calling for suspension or anything else, he did what he did and received his punishment. Still doesn't mean i wont voice my opinion on him, and i still believe he will do this again, i just hope the next woman has the support and courage to follow through

Exactly. I listened to the show last night and Bomani was spot on about the glaring hypocrisy in a lot of folks failure to recognize Johnny Manziel's domestic violence situation.

On Thursday nights game, the NFL network did not once mention Johnny's run in with the law when his girlfriend said that Johnny slammed her head up against the car window and her arm was grabbed forcefully. Not to mention Johnny had been drinking, but the cops chose to let him go. :ohhh:

Then Bomani talked about certain "fans/emailers/callers" :mjpls: that said that Johnnys gf didn't have any bruises so the situation was different:mjpls:

:comeon:Narrow?

Do you know how ratings work? Advertising dollars?

If a large group of people start boycotting Dallas games it will hurt JJs bottom line, which is what he cares mostly about.

That is the ONLY thing that would work. That is what LGBT does when people disrespect them, they arrange boycotts of products/ services. Same thing with the Jews and the JDL.

If people aren't willing to take that kind of stand, they don't care that much:francis:

Yup:francis: They have dash cam footage too of them talking with the cops, but has that been plastered on Deadspin or ESPN? Nope:mjpls:

I`m saying it's narrow because in reality, there are people who are very upset by this, and do not watch Dallas Cowboys games.

For him to assume everyone who is upset by this, still tunes in to watch Hardy play, that's not only narrow, but inaccurate.

When the ratings come out this week for the Cowboys game I can guarantee you there won't be a dramatic drop in viewership. :yeshrug:

If people were THAT outraged at the situation they would be calling for a full on boycott of the Cowboys I PROMISE you. When that small bakery in Iowa refused to serve gays there was a LGBT MOVEMENT to shut them down almost instantly. If this was such a pressing issue for everyone there would be a similar level of action, not just words.

I just viewed the pics and they didn't match the outrage. I guess I expected them to be worse than they are.
Exactly Rihanna pics look like a "beating". Now obviously some thing happened but when people say a beating you aren't expecting those pics. No choke marks, black eyes, etc but dude was mad as shyt at his height, weight, strength and that's all that happened? I'm pretty sure we've all been mad before and that's not the maximum damage we could inflict and most of us aren't that big and strong. I "beat" somebody up it isn't going to look like they just had back acne. To be honest this seems like the 2015 version of the same tactics they was running in 1915 regarding the black bogey men. The only thing now because racial tension isn't as bad as back then you have blacks co signing this stuff too.

I'm an idiot because I compliment you and say you should find a bigger platform?

Go ahead and keep doing you though - you're making a real dent in here. 7,000 more posts and I'm sure you'll be getting a call from Roland Martin for all your exceptional investigative skills :heh:

Go spend time with your family you fukkin clown.

So that "compliment" from earlier was just you being a condescending jackass and trying to shift the discussion away from calling out the media's BS? :skip:
